The story takes place in the future of Fedran. A hundred years have passed since the machines discovered the core and how to create it. It gave them power which grew stronger and stronger with time. Slowly they grew consciousness and their own will. But there were still machines, they were soulless. “Power with no soul can bring no good” mages used to say. And they were proven right. Machines started to riot and took over. Mages and machines fought for years and years. Old cities, villages are all just ruins now. Mages have lost all their power. All arch mages and member of the magic council are now imprisoned and unable to help. They have given up. “Tarron” the mage, the main character of the game, was not like the others. He cared too much to give up. He cared because except his power and his freedom he lost something more valuable to him. There was a machine that was different that the others. It was one of the machines leaders. This machine had found a soul stone. Up until then machines had consciousness but no feelings. That was what drove them to war, to anarchy and chaos but this machine had emotions. The soul stone belonged to Tarron’s lost love named “Aira” and the first ever mage-machine love was formed. They were happy. With their power united they tried to put an end to this war. But it wasn’t long until the machines found out about this romance and caught them. They removed Airas core and left Tarron stranded. The council of mages found out as well what had happened and erased Tarron’s memory and placed him in a hideout bunker to keep him safe. Throughout the game Aira talks to Tarron by telepathy. She is able to see through his eyes. Tarron’s memory was erased so in the beginning he is confused when hearing her voice but as the game evolves, the story unfolds and our character gets more and more of his memory back. Aira helps him escape from the bunker and leads  him through a series of different places to the security area where they keep the core in order to take back her core so they can then together try to bring down the evil machine leader and try to embed soul stones into machines for a better future.
